About Flagstaff AZ Attorney

The Flagstaff Legal Resource Center exists to do two things: publish accurate, plain-English guides to Arizona law as it applies in Flagstaff and Coconino County, and connect people who need a lawyer with independent licensed Arizona attorneys. This page explains who runs the site, how we make money, how the content is produced, and how to correct us when we get something wrong.

Who runs this site

This site is owned and operated by Wilder West Assets LLC and edited by Joe Styler. Joe is not an attorney, and neither is anyone else who works on this site. We are a publishing and referral business — we research Arizona statutes and local court procedure, write about them in plain English, and refer readers who want legal help to independent licensed attorneys.

We say this plainly because the alternative — implying legal credentials we don’t have — is exactly what we think is wrong with much of the legal-referral industry. You should know who is talking to you.

What we are — and are not

• We are not a law firm and we do not give legal advice. Every page on this site is general information.
• We do not employ attorneys. Attorneys in the referral network are independent, licensed professionals whose credentials you can verify with the State Bar of Arizona.
• No attorney reviews or endorses our articles. We do not claim otherwise anywhere on this site — if you ever see language here implying attorney review, that is an error; please report it.
• This website is a legal advertisement.

How we make money

When you request a free case evaluation or call the number on this site, your inquiry is routed to third-party legal marketing partners who connect you with a participating attorney. We are compensated for those referrals. The referral is free to you, you are never obligated to hire anyone, and the compensation does not change which statutes we cite or what the law says. How our guides are produced

Every substantive page on this site follows the same editorial process:

1. Primary sources only. Statutes are checked against the current text of the Arizona Revised Statutes; court procedures are checked against the relevant court’s own published materials (Coconino County Superior Court, Flagstaff Municipal Court, Flagstaff Justice Court); agency processes are checked against the agency (Arizona MVD, Industrial Commission of Arizona, Social Security Administration).
2. Sources are disclosed per page. Each guide ends with a “Sources & Corrections” block listing the specific primary sources checked for that page and the date we checked them. If a page doesn’t tell you where its claims come from, we consider that page unfinished.
3. Figures carry dates. Dollar amounts, deadlines, and penalty ranges change. We log the date each figure was verified, and we re-check pages on a refresh schedule.
4. No scare tactics, no superlatives. We do not call any attorney “the best,” we do not guarantee outcomes, and we try to describe deadlines with accuracy rather than alarm — legal deadlines are urgent enough without embellishment.

Corrections policy

If anything on this site is wrong — a statute we misread, a figure that has changed, a broken link, a procedure a local court has updated — we want to know, and we will fix it.

• Email corrections@flagstaffazattorney.com with the page URL and the issue.
• That inbox is read by the editor. Substantiated corrections are made on the page, and the page’s “Sources checked” date is updated.
• We keep an internal log of corrections received and what was done about them.
